As the economy is slowly gaining a foothold after month of lockdowns and quarantines, commercial establishments is opening up and providing previous task of catering to its customers but this time in an environment where they assured of its safety and that they are following the safety and healthy protocols where customers can have fun in this new norm.
SM Supermalls is one of those businesses who first open their doors and welcome back the mall goers where its main priority is to provide for its well being and safety by implementing continuously, over the the months of pandemic strict safety protocols. Its “Safe Malling at SM” is the best mantra around.
On the other hand, the government is doing his job of assuring that public establishments is being compliant with the government’s health protocols and other preventive measures to stop the spread of COVID-19. One of the measures is giving the safety seal certification. Safety Seal to increase consumers confidence that the business establishment is compliant with the health protocols.
Last June 11, the SM Mall of Asia receive its Safety Seal by the local government of Pasay headed by its Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano. The certification comes from the COVID-19 Inter-Agency Task Force’s safety program which includes representatives from the Department of the Interior and Local Government, Department of Tourism, Department of Health, Department of Trade and Industry, and Department of Labor and Employment.
SM MOA is first ever commercial establishment in Pasay City to receive the Safety Seal. Other SM Supermalls branches already receive theirs like SM Megamall and SM North to name a few.
What is good about receiving this Safety Seal is that it will provide opportunities to the businesses to gradually increase their operating capacity as long as they will strictly comply with the health guidelines of the LGU.
