It’s February! There are two special events we are celebrating this month and our favorite shopping destination, SM Megamall is gearing up preparing for Valentines Day and Chinese New Year. Luckily, SM has everything that will surely make us feeling loved this month especially if what we want is to dine to celebrate.

And as we are still under quarantine, SM strictly follows the pratice of social distancing and in observing safety protocols.

To practice social distancing, did you know that SM sets up various Eats a Date Dining Spots that will make your valentines date more romantic but will also help keep everyone safe? Furthermore the following are the safety protocol being followed by all SM Supermalls:

Enforcement of high-standard hygiene with disinfection products such as hand sanitizer, alcohol, temperature check machine;

Regular sanitation by staff after every customers finish their meal;

Transforming each space for social distancing;

A staff to remind customers to observe proper wearing of face mask, face shield and the proper social distancing; and

Digital Menu and cashless payment.

If you want variety, the Mega Food Hall has everything that will surely satisfy your food cravings! What’s more the hall keeps everyone safe especially upon entrance where you will be asked to fill up health survey after checking up your temperature. Nearby are disinfection products for your use. The table are set up for safe distancing but still feel intimate that you wouldn’t mind the distance.

Tex Mex offers Baked Burritos in Chicken, Beef or Carnitas. Baked perfectly with generous cheese toppings that will surely delight you and your loved ones taste buds. The Mex Pollo is a perfect addition because of its smoky flavor.

A favorite at the Mega Food Hall is the Roast Chicken with its yummy HK Roasted BBQ, Beef Kenchie Noodles. A must order is the Spicy Shrimp Wanton and the Xiao Long Bao! Just perfect for the Chinese New Year.

If you love sushi, Sushi Nori has a deluxe party tray. No one can beat their Sushi Dreams Temake,  its like you’re in Sushi heaven after eating everything.

Lugang Cafe

If you want to indulge in luxurious Chinese feast, and I do mean feast, the Lugang Cafe is the best place there is. Not only is the ambiance luxurious the food is a veritable feast of Chinese cuisine. Since Valentines and Chinese New Year is a celebration, you cannot dine in without their Birthday Noodles and their appetizer platter with century egg, jelly fish, honey Bbq and roasted duck. I love how it goes well with the Golden Fried Rice

If you’re quite addicted to Xiao Long Bao like me, the Lugang Xiao Long Bao is exquisite! Dipping it in thier special sauce and sipping the hot broth is what makes it exquisite because of its burst of flavor inside your mouth.

What makes it more exciting in this year celebration, lugang introduces its Yoghurt drinks which comes in Grape, Mango and Strawberry flavors.

MOS Burger

If you want the taste of the Mountain, Ocean and Sun, the MOS Burger is the place for you and your significant other. Japan’s biggest burger chain is now at SM Megamall and you can indulge in your MOSt favorite Japanese Burger with Cafe Au Lait and the best crispy fries in the city.

Genki Sushi

Another must stop Sushi favorite at SM Megamall is the Genki Sushi. Yoi can also enjoy the unique dining experience at genki sushi and have your fave at the Glass Garden if you want a more romantic ambiance.

Genki offers original and authentic Kaiten sushi. Yes, you can enjoy this fast-food style of sushi from Japan as it revolve around on a conveyer belt. Lovely, isnt it?

I’m telling you, those Leelin sisters can whip out good and delicious foods.
