From familiar favourites to something new: the à la carte menu
Café by Westside’s à la carte menu brings together dishes from home and farther afield, giving diners plenty to explore throughout the day.
Filipino flavours have a natural place on the menu. Kare-Kare, one of the restaurant’s chef signatures, pairs slow-cooked oxtail with a savoury peanut sauce and shrimp paste, while Home Style Sinigang brings the familiar comfort of a sour broth with a choice of shrimp, salmon, US beef or pork belly. Adobo, Crispy Pata, Lechon Kawali, Pinakbet with Bagnet and Pancit add to the line-up of well-loved local favourites.
Then the menu begins to travel.
Guests can move from Seafood Laksa, with prawns, squid and mussels in Malaysian coconut broth, to Pad Thai and Black Pepper Beef. Indian and Arabic selections include Murgh Makhani, Chicken Masala, Vegetable Korma, Chana Masala and Biryani, layered with spices, herbs and caramelized onions and offered with chicken, egg, seafood, vegetables or lamb.
For those craving something more familiar, the Signature Westside Burger, made with US Angus beef on a charcoal brioche bun, joins a selection of pasta, sandwiches and classic comfort food. Lighter choices include Lumpiang Sariwa, Thai Prawn and Pomelo Salad and Vietnamese Vegetable Spring Rolls.
“Good food should feel familiar, but there should always be something new to discover,” says Chef Chris Lugtu, Executive Chef of Grand Westside Manila Bay. “At Café by Westside, we bring together flavours our guests know and love with dishes they may be trying for the first time. For us, it’s about cooking food people genuinely enjoy and giving them a reason to come back for another plate.”

The journey does not have to end with the main course. Café by Westside’s à la carte dessert selection includes Dulce de Leche Cheesecake, 24-Carat Moist Chocolate Mousse Cake, Sugar-Free Tiramisu and Westside Homemade Gelato, with flavours changing according to the day’s selection.

Designed for diners who enjoy variety, the buffet brings different cuisines together in one generous spread. Guests can explore Filipino and Asian favourites, Indian and Middle Eastern flavours, Western classics, freshly prepared selections and desserts, building their own journey around the buffet one plate at a time.
