LG Electronics Philippines, in partnership with Addessa Corporation, brought music, energy, and community spirit together at Harbor Point Ayala Malls Subic Bay through the LG xboom Idol event, marking the North Luzon leg of the competition.
LG xboom Idol aims to discover talented aspiring singers and dancers across the country in search of standout pop talent in the Philippines. More than a competition, it gives passionate performers a chance to showcase their talent, confidence, and stage presence while experiencing the powerful sound and premium audio quality of LG xboom.
Designed for singing, karaoke, and live performance moments, the LG xboom Stage 501 helps bring bigger, clearer sound to every stage. Its strong audio output and performance-ready design make it a natural fit for aspiring talents who want their voice and music to carry with ease, whether in auditions, community events, mall activations, or gatherings with friends and family.
The event drew 65 registrants, with 15 semi-finalists selected by LG Electronics Philippines to move forward in the competition. Audience activities and on-ground engagement kept the atmosphere lively throughout the day.
At the close of the program, the Top 3 winners were announced: Cristine Joyce Bunao (Contestant No. 8) from Cavite, Rhoncie Ibarra (Contestant No. 7) from Quezon City, and Rachel Ann Clemente (Contestant No. 3) from Mandaluyong. Among them, Rachel Ann Clemente was named the LG xboom Idol 2026 North Luzon Grand Finalist.
As part of the elimination round prizes, standout participants received either an LG xboom Stage 501 with Php 5,000 in cash or an LG xboom Mini with Php 2,000 in cash.
The excitement continues into the grand finals, where bigger prizes await. The 5th place winner will receive Php 10,000 and an LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV. The 3rd and 4th place winners will each receive Php 20,000 and an LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV. The 2nd place winner will receive Php 50,000 and an LG Nano UHD 4K Smart TV. The 1st place winner will receive Php 100,000 and a trip for two to Seoul, South Korea.
Adding to the excitement, 10 LG xboom Mini units were raffled off during the event, giving attendees more ways to take part in the experience and enjoy the celebration.

With more legs still ahead, LG Electronics Philippines invites more aspiring performers to join the journey. The next stop of LG xboom Idol will be on September 25 at Festive Walk Mall Iloilo, giving more singers and dancers the chance to step into the spotlight and experience the energy of LG xboom firsthand.
More than a competition, the Subic Bay event reflected LG’s continued effort to create on-ground experiences that bring people together through music, entertainment, and everyday connection.
