You know its officially Christmas at SM City Marikina when your favorite mall of all just recently held a lighting ceremony of the tallest Christmas Tree in the city and the launch of the Christmas centerpiece to herald the most sparkling time of the year!

The launch of its centerpiece for the holiday season was witnessed by mall-goers and joining in the celebration were SM Supermalls Regional Operations Manager Mr. Dennis M. Martel, Councilor Rommel S. Acuña, SM City Marikina Mall Manager Mr. Francis Brian M. Cruz, Vice Mayor Marion S. Andres, Councilor Carl Eli F. Africa, Councilor Romina Kate N. De Guzman and Councilor Cloyd S. Casimiro.

As early as October, SM City Marikina kick off the Christmas season with the 100 Days of Caring and Giving. They joined other SM malls by doing an act of kindness and they donated lunch packs to 100 food riders.

The Sparkling Christmas launch also signal the start of the bringing the same celebration to its shoppers with a series of memorable Christmas celebrations, all while implementing strict #SafeMalling protocols. The mall is certified safe by LGUs, its staff is 100 percent vaccinated. There will be dazzling indoor and outdoor attractions that allow for picture-perfect shopping and dining activities for the whole family from November 5 to January 6, 2022.

Of course, there is also the annual tradition of sharing smiles with the SM Bears of Joy.

This pandemic has taught us to share what we have with those who have less. Every year, SM Supermalls and Toy Kingdom come together to give shoppers a chance to share the holiday season cheer with children in need. Starting November 12, shoppers can purchase the bears at P200 per pair – one to keep, and one to be donated to charity. This simple act of kindness can go a long way, especially during a time when empathy is needed most.
