Sun Life Philippines and Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) are teaming up to bring coffee breaks to a whole new level, as it infuses financial literacy in a fun and interactive way in a series of events.
Dubbed “Coffee and Play,” the game sessions will be held at select CBTL branches and will feature Sun Life’s original board game, Play for Life: A Game of Choices, with versions specifically designed for employees and professionals, business owners, and Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs).
The enthusiastic response to the Play for Life board game during its launch early this year has inspired us to create more versions to cater to different needs and experiences,” Carla Gonzalez-Chong, Sun Life Client Experience and Chief Marketing Officer, said. “With the Coffee and Play, sessions, we’re excited to engage even more Filipinos and help enrich their financial knowledge.”
Game Night for Employees and Professionals
The game night for employees and professionals will take place on November 28, 2024, 6:30 PM at The Kitchen by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at High Street South, Bonifacio Global City. Aside from playing the board game, attendees will get to enjoy a sumptuous dinner and receive exclusive merchandise. Participants will also get a chance to win exciting raffle prizes during the event. Coffee, Play, and Cooking Demo for Business Owners
Business owners are in for a treat as Chef Tatung Sarthou, a renowned restaurateur and content creator, will be present for a live cooking demo in the game session taking place on November 29, 2024, 1:00 PM at The Kitchen by Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf at High Street South, Bonifacio Global City. At the event, which will also be streamed live, Chef Tatung will also discuss the key ingredients of a successful food and restaurant business. Game Day for OFW Families in Bacolod
To kick off the holiday season, Sun Life will be hosting a fun game day exclusive to OFWs based in Bacolod and are currently home on vacation. The event will take place on November 30, 2024, 1:30 PM at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf located at Ayala Malls Capitol Central in Bacolod. Participants will get an exclusive Shine Pinoy travel kit. Just in time for the homecoming season of OFWs, the gameday can be a fun bonding activity with their families.
