SM City East Ortigas transform its mall atrium into a Christmas Holiday Garden when it launched its Christmas centerpiece last October 28, 2021.
The lighting of the Christmas Holiday Garden was the highlight of the majestic event which was attended by Ms. Mikaela Torres, Mr. John Samante from the office of Vice Mayor Christian “Iyo” Bernardo, SM City East Ortigas Mall Manager Mr. Tyrone Tan, SM City East Ortigas Asst. Mall Manager Ms. Arbie Cadalin, Kagawad Girlie Cruz from the office Brgy Sta Lucia Brgy Chairman Elpidio Bunag.
Mall Manager Mr. Tyrone Tan said that this Christmas is a hopeful one for many of us as he enumerated the many things we can look forward where we can enjoy special treats, promos, and exclusive deals as well as eElxplore, shop, and win at SM Christmas Saya Village.
In the course of this celebration of the festive season, SM is implementing strict #SafeMalling protocols, assuring us that everyone at SM is 100 percent vaccinated and the mall is certified safe by the LGU with its safety seal approval.
SM City East Ortigas has also participated in SM Supermalls 100 Days of Caring by donating care packages to 100 PWD and Senior Citizen of Brgy. Sta. Lucia.

This pandemic has taught us to share what we have with those who have less. Every year, SM Supermalls and Toy Kingdom come together to give shoppers a chance to share the holiday season cheer with children in need. Starting November 12, shoppers can purchase the bears at P200 per pair – one to keep, and one to be donated to charity. This simple act of kindness can go a long way, especially during a time when empathy is needed most.
Indeed, not even pandemic could threaten the Fipinos celebrtation of Christmas.
