It’s D-day! Last October 21, we get to experience the true essence of Japanese hospitality and culinary artistry, when we went to Lemon-Dou: Discover Izakaya.
It was such a festive atmosphere as we were whisked away on a gastronomic adventure to the Land of the Rising Sun, right at the very center of Forbestown Burgos Park. As Lemon-Dou™ invites us to ‘Lemon-Dou: Discover Izakaya’ – a vibrant food and fun fest that brings the heart of Japan to your doorstep. We were immersed all night in the rich tapestry of Japanese culture and cuisine, all without the need for a passport.
Introduced in 2021 as Coca-Cola Philippines’ first foray into the alcoholic drinks segment, Lemon-Dou has captured the hearts and palates of many Filipinos. A refreshing, full-bodied chūhai (a canned alcoholic drink) that bursts with the zest of whole crushed lemons, infused in alcohol, and mixed with fizzy bubbles, Lemon-Dou offers three variants in 320ml cans: Honey Lemon (3% ABV), Signature Lemon (5% ABV), and Devil Lemon (9% ABV). Since its launch, it has become an ideal companion for Filipinos of legal drinking age who crave unique-tasting beverages and distinct Japanese flavors.
The vibrant world of Japanese culture awaits us and everywhere your favorite Influencers were around and stalls of yummy Japanese fare are about.
We savored the exquisite flavors of Japan’s oishi bar chow and dishes, and fully immerse in the charm of Japanese art, music, and entertainment at ‘Lemon-Dou: Discover Izakaya’. From kawaii fashion and captivating arts and crafts to cultural performances and dances, Lemon-Dou has curated an experience that will make you feel as if you’ve been transported straight to Japan!
Lemon-Dou ambassador and renowned food influencer, Erwan Heussaff, along with the Filipinos’ favorite internet chef and ninong, Ninong Ry, shared their passion for Japanese cuisine. These culinary masters  craftef an izakaya experience that is truly one-of-a-kind.
