Since the pandemic started, the bicycles has been a lifesaver. And many has depended on it for whatever everyday things.
Last Novemver 27, SM City Marikina celebrates National Bicycle Day by offering comfort and convenience for every bicycle rider as they welcome them with BIKERS’ LOUNGE, a safe space to cool down and relax before entering the mall area. A compartment is also available for a quick change of clothing. This designated section is situated beside the Bicycle Parking Area at the Upper Carpark Level.
SM City Marikina has always been on par with their bike-centric programs such as the Free Bicycle Parking, Free Bicycle Repair Stand, 3-kilometer Bicycle Lane, Designated Cubicle in Rest Rooms, Folded Bikes are Allowed Inside the Mall and customized Bike & Dine section at the canopy area.
Since 2012, SM City Marikina have been implementing and developing bicycle programs for the conveniece of the cycling sector. Meanwhile, the mall is a Gold Awardee of Bicycle Friendly Establishment from Mobility Awards 2020. Previous bike-centric campaigns include Pedal Faculty, Bikecation, Padyakan, Jitensha and Cambio del Independencia.
